I am the vine, You are the branches, He who abides in Me and I in him. He bears much fruit For apart from Me you can do nothing. |

If you abide in Me and my words abide in you Ask whatever you will and it will be done for you. When we abide in the Lord and let His words abide in us, We actually are one with Him and He works within us. Then when we ask in prayer for whatever we will It is not only we who are praying He too is praying, in our praying. This kind of prayer is related to fruit bearing and will surely be answered. |

This is the universal spreading of Christ as the True Vine! He is the branch and we are the branches.When we abide in Christ as the universal Vine, we have the church life, a life of loving one another.
If we have such an abiding, we will have an effective prayers for fruit-bearing! When we abide in the Lord and let His words abide in us, we actually are one with Him and He works within us, and there will be a desire in us that comes out of His words, and His desire will become our desire. Praise the Lord, we have been grafted into Christ as the vine! What a mercy that we who were once the wild olive tree have been grafted into the cultivated tree (Christ).
