Your Preciousness, O Lord I See

NS1153
1
Your preciousness, O Lord, I see,
Attracted, fully charmed by Thee.
Though many times rebuked,
I'm then exposed and gently soothed;
Your light unveils what's truly me.

Your love still binds my heart to Thee,
Beyond my strength and constancy;
You know my frame, my rise, my fall,
Your love for me—unchangeable.
2
Your glorious image, Lord, I see,
Though faced with my deficiency;
In lowly times, You came
And told me, "Call upon My name,"
That I may fix my heart on Thee.
3
The One who's excellent, I see,
The One who cares so humanly;
Humanity, divine,
Thy life so near, we intertwine;
A life expressing only Thine.
