I'm Your Vessel

You are the Potter, and I am the clay.
Every experience You have arranged.
My life is in Your hands.
Shape me, do all You can.
Lord, by Your mercy I'm seeking You still.
Though weak and sinful, I long to be filled.
You gave me a soft heart.
Keep me! Your life impart.

I'm Your vessel unto honor,
And made for Your glory.
You're my treasure within.
I was made to contain You.
Fill me with riches divine,
That Your life may be expressed through mine.
I'm Your vessel.
I'm Your vessel.

May there be nothing else taking Your place.
Everything other than You is a waste.
Cleanse me, empty my heart.
Fill me in every part.
Lord, make me willing to pay any price
To gain the oil, to be filled up with Christ.
May I redeem the time.
Grant me more life divine.

Lord, may I open and gain You each day
In such a steady and unfailing way.
On Your name I would call,
Loving You above all.
Fill all my vision, remain in my view.
As I'm beholding my life reflects You.
Gazing, being infused,
Others then will see You.

Fill all my vision, remain in my view.

Lord make our eyes like those of doves, “ a dove is gentle, and it’s eyes can see only thing at a time”. Lord fill my vision, remain in my view. Do not let me look right or left, not even a small turn. Keep me eyes on You!

Praise the Lord! In order to fulfil His purpose, God created man as a vessel to contain Him as life; God chose us that we may be vessels of honour filled with the Triune God, He makes known His glory upon us that we may be vessels of glory, and by His mercy, we’re vessels of mercy. Hallelujah! 😀

I am crucified with Christ, may the spirit overflow me and break through my flesh. Lord Jesus fill me with the divine life, the treasure within. Lord Jesus in your name Amen❤️

Though weak and sinful, I long to be filled.

These days I am learning that the problem is not with my vessel. The Lord made me as He sought fit. There is definitely nothing wrong with the treasure as our Lord is perfect. But the issue is that my vessel is filled with so many others treasures; even all the wrong treasures. As I come to the Lord I just long for Him to empty me and fill me.

This hymn is a sweet prayer full of the realization that we are vessels with a treasure- Christ Himself!

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not out of us. Hallelujah!
