The gift of righteousness

I love this song because in it I can muse how much the Lord really loves me and you, all of us. He's always been longing and yearning and hoping and waiting and ever desiring for me and you to turn to Him. So let us make the Lord happy too and say to Him ... "Lord my wandering heart I give to Thee."

This song reminded me of Romans 5:17: For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Every time when I sing this song, it touches my inner being ... "He knows my deepest thought, my every situation. He understands my heart, He knows my history. There is nothing in His way, He's just waiting for me to say 'Lord Jesus, my wandering heart I give to Thee.'"

This is song #5 in the New York young people music CD "Splendid Church Life!". Pretty nice song!

I love this song because when I'm down or upset, singing this song makes me go into my spirit! O Lord Jesus! Amen!!

Before I got baptized, I had no one to turn to, simply because no one could really understand my thought. Once I was singing this hymn, I suddenly realized that my Lord Jesus is the very person that really knew everything about me, He knew my deepest thought and all my history, and He and I are in such a close and intimate relationship! He must be the One I can turn to all the time, for He has really known what I am going through. Praise the Lord!!!

Before when I am not in the local church I dont like this song because I received the doctrine which is coming from the concept of man. But later on when I'm in study about the local church Christ revealed about His precious word to me that's why I'm open up and call O Lord Jesus...

I like this song because its lyrics touch my inmost being, and make me open my heart to come to Christ Himself.
