The Great Physician now is near

What a gracious song that ministers healing to the soul, spirit and body. What a joy, splendor and happiness it will be when we all meet at the feet of Christ in heaven, sickness and sorrow we shall bear no more but ever rejoicing till all eternity.

Slept last night with a burdened heart, but dreamt of myself singing this song in the midst of a crowd. And in the morning I woke singing it in tears.

And then I realize the extent of His love for me.

Praise the Lord I am healed.The wordings of this song are powerful and still carries the healing power of Jesus. I sang it this morning and the Lord touched me. My cousin's daughter is in the hospital and sent to ask for prayers. I quoted the first two lines to him and started singing the chorus afterwards. I grew up in Jamaica singing this song at church especially in prayer meetings or to start prayers for healing. The Great Physician is still in business! Praise the wonderful and powerful name of Jesus!

Whatever inward conflict or infirmity we are cumbered with we can cast ourself down at His feet, He never did nor will He ever turn the needy suppliant away but will send him away rejoicing.

Lord, that You may give me to look away from all that distracts, even from felt deficiencies of what I see a Christian is to be in his temper and love, to look unto You alone for only as I behold Thee as Thou art am I transformed into the beautific likeness.

Can't hold tears streaming down my eyes this morning as I heard this song in worship form. it stirs up my spirit man and awakens my heart to Jesus' infallible love for me. Keep listening, it's a good antidote for a depressed soul in despair.

Hope you all had a blessed weekend. Mine was fair, nursing a breakup can be challenging but with God's love, HE makes us go through well. I listened to this song a lot while I was at a Seventh Day school, Seventh day are people who love to sing a lot. This morning I woke up and had this song in mind. Google helps me usually.
