Oh, do not let the Word depart
And close thine eyes against the light:
O dear ones, harden not your heart.
Be saved, time is right!
And close thine eyes against the light:
O dear ones, harden not your heart.
Be saved, time is right!
O why more delay?
O why more delay?
You want to be saved,
So why more delay?
O why more delay?
You want to be saved,
So why more delay?

Tomorrow's sun may never rise
To bless thee with another day;
This is the time, O then be wise;
Believe; why delay?
To bless thee with another day;
This is the time, O then be wise;
Believe; why delay?
O why not tonight?
O why not tonight?
Be freed from your sins;
O why not tonight?
O why not tonight?
Be freed from your sins;
O why not tonight?

O what's worth loving in this world?
It's old, corrupted, in decay;
Come taste the grace of Christ the Lord
While there's still today!
It's old, corrupted, in decay;
Come taste the grace of Christ the Lord
While there's still today!
O why not today?
O why not today?
You want to find grace,
So why not today?
O why not today?
You want to find grace,
So why not today?

Our Savior's full of kindness; He
Will ne'er reject those who believe;
Salvation's theirs immediately!
Just trust and believe.
Will ne'er reject those who believe;
Salvation's theirs immediately!
Just trust and believe.
Just believe, while it's now;
Miss the chance, and it's gone!
Believe; why delay?
The chance will be gone!
Miss the chance, and it's gone!
Believe; why delay?
The chance will be gone!
