Now I lift my hands and pray;
Burning Spirit send today;
All delights, consume away;
Nothing for the self can stay.
Burning Spirit send today;
All delights, consume away;
Nothing for the self can stay.
Burning Spirit send, as fire;
Do great deeds, my life entire;
Satisfy my heart's desire:
Burn to nothing with Your fire.
Waiting, waiting,
Waiting for the Spirit's fire.
Do great deeds, my life entire;
Satisfy my heart's desire:
Burn to nothing with Your fire.
Waiting, waiting,
Waiting for the Spirit's fire.
