1
God's living water is flowing
Forth from His temple divine,
Through holy entrance now passing
Over its boundary line.
Forth from His temple divine,
Through holy entrance now passing
Over its boundary line.
God's living water,
Freshness wherever it goes;
Death now it swallows forever,
With life abundant o'erflows.
Freshness wherever it goes;
Death now it swallows forever,
With life abundant o'erflows.
2
God's living water flows freely;
East for God's glory it flows;
This is of utmost importance:
All on the altar must go!
East for God's glory it flows;
This is of utmost importance:
All on the altar must go!
3
God's living water is boundless;
Everything's measured by God.
All things become His possession,
Judged by His measuring rod.
Everything's measured by God.
All things become His possession,
Judged by His measuring rod.
4
God's living water, o'erflowing,
Swells to a great rushing tide,
Flowing till man can do nothing
But in God's grace must abide.
Swells to a great rushing tide,
Flowing till man can do nothing
But in God's grace must abide.
