What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful

The Bible says in Luke 18:1 that men ought to always pray and not faint! Beloved, these are praying times - the whole world is under threat and Jesus is a threat eliminator! This song came to my mind in prayer this morning and I couldn’t remember all the words so I looked it up. Beautiful words to the heart that longs for His presence. Grace and peace!

We used to sing this song all the time in church. I haven't heard this song in a long time and it never came to my mind until today. I'm watching Tubi and I picked a faith based movie and they were singing this song. I can't believe I forgot this song, especially when I always look up songs that I hum. But this didn't come to my mind until today when I heard it. I looked it up. This is so true to take it to the Lord in prayer. What a friend indeed our Lord Jesus Christ is. Pray... pray... pray.. and pray again.
