Christian, seek not yet repose

1
Christian, seek not yet repose,
Hear thy gracious Savior say;
Thou art in the midst of foes:
  Watch and pray.
2
Principalities and powers,
Mustering their unseen array,
Wait for thy unguarded hours:
  Watch and pray.
3
Gird thy heavenly armor on,
Wear it ever night and day;
Ambushed lies the evil one:
  Watch and pray.
4
Hear the victors who o'ercame,
Still they mark each warrior's way;
All with one sweet voice exclaim,
  Watch and pray.
5
Hear, above all, hear thy Lord,
Him thou lovest to obey;
Hide within thy heart His word:
  Watch and pray.
6
Watch, as if on that alone
Hung the issue of the day;
Pray, that help may be sent down:
  Watch and pray.

What a dreadful lost of these soul challenging sermonets from the modern day Christian churches. We do need to seek for the old path and walk in it.

Greetings Hymnal Net,

Blessed happy new year 2014 to you and all listening and learning this vital hymn as in Matthew 26 verse 41.

At our local resident London CFT Churches in New Cross and Woolwich Cathedral we have been taught this very important hymn by our Spiritual Father, Apostle Alfred Williams. This comes at a time when songs or hymns rather like this are rarely sung enough with full understanding and he [our Father in the Lord, Apostle Williams] has even said, 'Any hymn book without this hymn is not a hymn book'.

I can see and understand fully why.

Please make full words always available plus people or someone singing it.

As even youtube does not have these words which shows, the world don't want us Christians 'to seek not yet repose'.

All glory be to the Lord God Almighty JESUS Christ of Nazareth!

Agape Love;

This blessed hymn reminds me the need of prayers in every situation as we continue [church/member] on this pilgrimage here.

God bless hymnal.net and the saints as we use these songs. Thanks and God's grace to all users.

I'd like the exact words to Watch and Pray as it is sung on WFSI, Annapolis, station 107.9. Also where can I get the actual music as it sounds on that same station?

You have the best radio station bar none on the airwaves. Please keep it going. It means so much to me all the time.

Thank You!
