The name of Jesus is so sweet

Singing this hymn since I was a child.. I am now in my eighties and it is as sweet to sing now as it was then...

Jesus is the name above all names, and His name is so sweet, Oh Lord Jesus!!

What a joy to have the words of a beautiful hymn to sing in my morning praise & prayer place. Hymns are about Him! He alone is worthy of my praise! Thanks

I used to hate saying the name of Jesus. It was like an irritation in my mouth. BUT, one day Jesus came into my life. His sweetness and love for me was like no other. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus the sweetest name I know.

This is nice.

I am 62 years of age and have known this song since my childhood. It still blesses me today as when I first heard it. His name is still sweet, it's still powerful.

I grew up singing and playing this. It is a true hymn. No other name is greater than Jesus! No comparison!

So love this hymn. Grew up singing this in the Annex Baptist Church back home in The Bahamas. One of my favourites!! There is truly no name like The Name of JESUS! Hallelujah!

God will bless you.

I woke up with this hymn in my head. I learned it at church growing up in Jamaica over 40 years ago. My mother used to sing this song at home a lot. The hymnal I use now does not have the hymn. I am really happy to find the lyrics and hear the piano music. Thank you so very much. I am very grateful that I could have all the lyrics because I did not remember it all.

God bless your ministry.
