Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus

English568

’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, Thus saith the Lord.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him,
How I've proved Him o'er and o'er,
Jesus, Jesus, Precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more.

O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me,
'Neath the healing, cleansing flood.

Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life, and rest, and joy, and peace.

I'm so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

Jesus, thank You for all of these praises to You from my brothers and sisters in Christ. This song and these praises to You are helping me to get through a very difficult time in my life right now. I love all of you out there, thank you for being here to comment and praise!

What more is sweeter than trusting in Jesus alone? He is a friend, a friend of sinners, Father of believers. I have learned to trust Him in all ramifications and that has lifted so many burdens on me because I leave all my burdens to Him and my part now is only trusting in Him and His cleansing blood. Hallelujah...........

To trust in You dear Lord Jesus is life in its fullness. I have proved You over and again, as my doctor You are the health of my countenance, security wise You are my hiding place, my keeper and coming king.

It's so sweet to trust in You LORD, JESUS. And I am so glad I've learned to trust You. Like I prayed earlier today, open my eyes of the spirit to really see how much You love me and how much I need to trust in You, because You never fail. No, You never fail!

"I'm so glad I learned to trust Him". Indeed I'm glad that I learned to trust in Him alone coz all other grounds is sinking sand...and I pray for more grace to trust Him even in the darkest moments of my life. What a hymn!

Singing this hymn in Church this morning brought the full import home. A life that is etched in trust in Jesus is a life that is well lived.

Lord teach me to trust You more.
