Take my life, and let it be

I just woke up thinking of how I want my life to be consecrated to my Lord and this was a fitting song for my morning devotion. God bless those who have made these wonderful hymns available. God be glorified.

This morning early in my office I was working on a sermon and the words of this blessed song came to mind. It refreshed me and revived my heart and mind! Praise God!

I got so happy when I found this song in English, cause I just know the title in Spanish. I'm sure the Holy Spirit guide me to find it and I rejoice in the God of my Salvation and want to live my life only to Praise and Glorify Him.

The Holy Spirit led me to find this song as I began to pray and giving the Spirit full responsibility over my life and for what ever happens to me. From this day forward, if I live or die it's because Yahweh/GOD permits. When sick I know He will heal because this body is temple or house on earth and He is capable of taking care of His property. So I consecrate to the service of His kingdom, especially in third and final day of His expected return.

I thank my Lord for calling me, for be now His friend. It is necessary for me to thank every day for His mercy and love. After years or searching Him, now I belong to my Lord Jesus.

I enjoy so much singing this song because it is a prayer to the Lord to take everything that we have and are, and that they would be consecrated to Him. Surely the Lord would answer a prayer like this. Lord, may we truly consecrate these things to You!

To sing this hymn and mean it solves a lot of problems and gives me more peace than I had before I sung it. This one and Nearer Still Nearer breaks something in me that needs breaking.

All that I am is the Lord's. What a privilege to be used by the Lord!

Everything that I have, everything that I am today it's by Your grace. You own my being; therefore Lord use me as You want.

Lord I love You. I love to give everything I am and have to You. Take it Lord. You alone are worthy of everything.
