Take my life, and let it be

Consecration Surrendering All to the Lord

English445

Take my life, and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands, and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love;
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee,
Swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice, and let me sing
Always, only, for my King;
Take my lips, and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee,
Filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold;
Not a mite would I withhold;
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as Thou shalt choose,
Every power as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will, and make it Thine;
It shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart; it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,
It shall be Thy royal throne.

Take my love; my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure-store.
Take myself, and I will be
Ever, only, all for Thee,
Ever, only, all for Thee.

Lord take full control of me, fill my lips with messages from thee. Lord my God, This morning when yuo will be blessing your sons, father count me in too, let me be among the number, Take my feet and let them be swift on your blessed pathway.

My high school used this song during morning assembly, after prayers in the seventies.

I surrender all to you my Lord. Your will be done in my life. Amen

Lord, please take my everything, and let them be as you purpose. This hymn has greater and deeper meaning today than it had five years ago.

I bless God whose spirit dropped this hymn into my spirit the early hours of today, 15/01/20, @2:56am. Yes, this hymn from childhood have been my pledge... But today, it became a moment of sober reflection and reduction.

Dear Lord, I humbly surrender my all to you in complete obedience. Please take me and make me what you want me to be. God bless you for sharing. Thanks.
