Take my life, and let it be

Consecration Surrendering All to the Lord

English445

Take my life, and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee;
Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands, and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love;
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee,
Swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice, and let me sing
Always, only, for my King;
Take my lips, and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee,
Filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold;
Not a mite would I withhold;
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as Thou shalt choose,
Every power as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will, and make it Thine;
It shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart; it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,
It shall be Thy royal throne.

Take my love; my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure-store.
Take myself, and I will be
Ever, only, all for Thee,
Ever, only, all for Thee.

It's a Song of total surrender, for a Christian that's wants to give it all to Jesus

Thank you Lord for always being ready to accept us back when we call on you. When sung in faith, this song has helped me surrender all to the will of God and find joy in serving Him by serving His people with all I have - my body, mind and money. To Him alone be glory!

I rejoice as I read posts from my brothers and sisters in Christ from around the world. I am blessed by your consecration to the Lord. I am so glad that you have been blessed by this song as you have given yourselves fully to our Lord Jesus. I have just sung this song slowly and quietly, trying to meditate on each word at a time when I have received news of a very positive Gospel advance. He is worthy of it all!

One of my best songs it shows absolute commitment and dedication to the Lord. Every true Christian is called to serve God with his/her talent, time silver and gold.

God bless all those who believe in the words of the song.

I have been going through a trial recently, a real battle. I woke up today and thought I would do a Bible study to counter the enemy's lies. But I always like to start with worship which I did. As I wanted to wind down to my Bible, songs of consecration and rededication came to my heart, including this one. It broke me down and I offered my life to the LORD once again. It's like the LORD is saying "Just be fully yielded to Me."

So here I am LORD. My life, heart, mind and soul are Yours. I trust Your Word, and I trust You. ♥️ 💓

This song is really a blessing to me this morning. In my desire for consecration, I want God to take my moments and my days, and let them flow in ceaseless praise...

I want to love Him with all. Then, a line of the song came... Take my love, my Lord I pour...

And it's a great blessing seeing the whole lyrics and gracious comments.
