My faith looks up to Thee

Heard this song in an instrumental version. Had to pause as tears came to my eyes. It took me back to my childhood growing up in church. The wonderful song that it is. Songs like this stick to you, it helps you as you’re going through life. Not too much of anything is like the songs of old. Precious are they.

So very precious hymn to me, needed the lyrics for my memory to recall. Words and memories flooded back into my soul from way back in childhood. How I miss hearing these hymns in our church today. Thank you so much for this site! God bless you richly for this service!

My faith looks up to THEE THOU LAMB of Calvary...

While life's dark maze I tread and griefs around me spread, be THOU MY GUIDE, bid darkness turn to day, wipe sorrow tears away, nor let me ever stray from THEE aside in JESUS Mighty Name... Amen!
