I'm pressing on the upward way

Was really down but the spirit of God dropped this song in my mind. It did brighten my day hope it does same to those who trust in his strength. May the peace of God be with us all

This song always brings me to " tears of joy " . It is so inspiring and uplifting. It reminds us that with faith in God we can overcome our difficulties.

Am glad to be reading all this comments from my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. This is an encouragement and a remind of the love of God towards us and His promise towards us. May God take us all to higher grounds in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

This wonderful hymn reminding is us to aim for higher ground away from Satanic world. It is only in higher ground we can meet our Lord because we have removed all impediment preventing us from accessing Him. This is by putting off the old man and put on new man

My all time favorite hymn. I marched with this hymn to meet my husband at the altar in 2005. My marriage is one of the best if not the best. God bless the writer for such great lyrics.

When I heard this song today I was encouraged and reminded again by this hymn writer to look up and away beyond my present troubles and the evil in this world's system to what God is doing and has planned for His children. I am so encouraged reading the other comments from my brothers and sisters in Christ around the world that I wanted to tell them that if you are reading this and you are suffering persecution, you have not been forgotten. I am praying for you! May God comfort you and keep you strong in the faith. I pray that He keeps you safe. But more importantly, remember that he who can destroy the body can never destroy your soul, and He who protects your soul will completely restore your body one day. I too suffer in great physical pain. Please pray for me, brothers and sisters. We are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, so run the race with endurance, remembering the prize that is before you!

This song has been my anchor, encouragement and soul lifter any time this prigrim journey seems or becomes tougher. It moltivates me to move on.

I was having a nap during the day and while I in the dream, I was singing this song. I woke up and had to look for the lyrics so I can learn it properly and it really lifted me up.

Thank You God for the provision of Your Son Jesus Christ whom You sent to redeem mankind.

Thank God for visiting me again through this Song, as I Meditate on Isaiah 40:30, at my fallen and fainted state like every sinner in the World... Lord lift me up from my Sinful and fallen state in Isaiah 40:30 and let me Stand and wait for you in Isaiah 40:31, so I can renew my strength in you again, then I can mount up with wings from the higher ground... I want to live above the world, I want to scale the utmost height with the LORD JESUS... then I will run in the Lord's strength and not be weary; and I shall walk with the Lord in Spirit and not faint... My prayer, my aim , is higher ground (Isaiah 40:31)!!!
