More about Jesus would I know

Longings For Knowledge of Christ

English382
1
More about Jesus would I know,
More of His grace to others show;
More of His saving fullness see,
More of His love who died for me.

More, more about Jesus,
More, more about Jesus;
More of His saving fullness see,
More of His love who died for me.
2
More about Jesus let me learn,
More of His holy will discern;
Spirit of God my teacher be,
Showing the things of Christ to me.
3
More about Jesus; in His Word,
Holding communion with my Lord;
Hearing His voice in every line,
Making each faithful saying mine.
4
More about Jesus; on His throne,
Riches in glory all His own;
More of His kingdom's sure increase;
More of His coming, Prince of Peace.

i heard this song first more than thirty years ago at age of six, could not get its real words and message, I have searched it and sung it. Its real, Jesus is the more and more we need if our life rest is vanity. Jesus I trust in You!

Matthew 11:29. Jesus is the only subject worth learning. The best teacher worth having.

Jesus is the reality, every other thing is a shadow. Why should I chase the shadows instead of the reality? May I develop a voracious hunger for this JESUS.

This is one of my best hymns, I remember when in first came across it. That was when I just gave my life to Christ and I won't stop singing it. Unconsciously the song just came to my mind today and I googled it and here it is. God bless the writer of this hymn.

Soul lifting hymn...

Lord, help me to know more about You. Help me to hold communion with You each day of my life, hearing Your voice in every line and making each faithful saying mine.

In this empty world of material gain and pursuit, only JESUS, yes more of Him satisfies. Oh, Lord, more of You in my soul. More of Jesus, the One Who died for me. Please Lord, fill my heart with Your fullness. May my love for You increase as I increase in age. To love You is actually to do Your will in ALL things. More of Jesus, more of Jesus. Jesus, You are the Best that has happened to my soul!
