More about Jesus would I know

Longings For Knowledge of Christ

English382

1

More about Jesus would I know,
More of His grace to others show;
More of His saving fullness see,
More of His love who died for me.

More, more about Jesus,
More, more about Jesus;
More of His saving fullness see,
More of His love who died for me.

2

More about Jesus let me learn,
More of His holy will discern;
Spirit of God my teacher be,
Showing the things of Christ to me.

3

More about Jesus; in His Word,
Holding communion with my Lord;
Hearing His voice in every line,
Making each faithful saying mine.

4

More about Jesus; on His throne,
Riches in glory all His own;
More of His kingdom's sure increase;
More of His coming, Prince of Peace.

The lyrics of this hymn was brought to mind yesterday as we spoke about ‘Times & Season’ and how Jesus and Peter spoke about Noah- Genesis 8:22. First mention [NOV 2016]

Thanks for this song. It has inspired me so much. It has made my day during men's camp in our church.

Quite inspiring. Surely each one of us should be eager to know more about Jesus every day.

What a lovely reassuring melody. I feel encouraged as it is...

More about Jesus; on His throne,
Riches in glory all His own;
More of His kingdom’s sure increase;
More of His coming, Prince of Peace
Amen

Is good to love Jesus my Lord and my Master because He first loves me. A Great Physician and Redeemer of my soul.

Makinde Agbede

Learnt this hymn as a kid in Primary school. If Jesus loves me so much that He wouldn't let me go, even when I sin, then I intend to know more of His mercy, grace and love. Even as an adult, this hymn makes me appreciate Jesus more for His saving and redeeming grace.

Strong passion, insatiaty for Him. I woke up with this song in my heart. Can never have enough of Him and His.

Apt with every detail of the hymn to keep us singing of the Lord our God. He's a God of details! Amen
