Whilst enjoying a book titled the Coming of the Lord A/C. The thought to sing this song to the Father came into my mind. He is the Great Father of Glory, Pure Father of Light and He is our Father. Praise the Lord we are born of God, we are His Many son's. Today we are His expression on the earth and the light to the World. Abba Father we love You.

Like many of the comments here, this song came to my mind early this morning from my mother playing it in church. I couldn't remember all the words, so just had to search for them. God is moving in the hearts of His people to bring Him true praise from hearts, in love. I look forward to singing this with you all in heaven!
Reminded in my devotional the words immortal invisible God only wise led me to look up one of my favourite hymns. I love hymns, and this one lifted my head up, my soul up to our amazing God.

I am 76 years old and am finally getting serious about making instructions for funeral and will and such. I found a note I made years ago that is in my legal papers..."for my funeral sing 'Immortal, Invisible God Only Wise', all verses."
Just reread the verses here and am teary with happiness. I am now writing this into my funeral plans for my daughters to follow. My other hymn is "This is my Father's World." I only regret that the world is such a mess right now. We as world citizens are leaving such a poor legacy.
