Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible

When reading 1st Timothy 1 today, this sentence flooded my mind with a song I remembered from the 1970's in Sunday school at the 1st Evangelical Church of Down Town Portland, which recently succumbed to a fire.

But the church was not there. It's members since its inception had been dispersed among the nation/s. It was only a beautiful building after all.

But the songs & hymns that were played are still in my heart & mind.

When depressed I sing them and think of things to be thankful for, like windshield wipers & high beam headlights that help me to see & to see even further. Just like God's Word.
