Low in the grave He lay

1
Low in the grave He lay—
  Jesus my Savior!
Waiting the coming day—
  Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
  Hallelujah! Christ arose!
2
Vainly they watch His bed—
  Jesus, my Savior!
Vainly they seal the dead—
  Jesus my Lord!
3
Death cannot keep his prey—
  Jesus, my Savior!
He tore the bars away—
  Jesus my Lord!

I woke up Easter Morning remembering this song that I sang in church growing up. I always have loved this song! He arose and I am so thankful! Jesus died for me but the grave could not hold him! He arose!

Like with several others, I was up this Easter morning with this hymn resonating in my heart. It was much more a blessing reading from the comments or testimonies of fellow saints from across the globe including the US. Christ's resurrection is the greatest event in the history of mankind. Christ's resurrection is indeed the greatest hope of those following Him. If He died but did not rise, we would have no hope for eternity... And this morning, the Holy Ghost impresses upon my heart that the power of His resurrection is not just about the hope of our rising up at the last day. His resurrection implies that even so shall I arise even in this life! Friend, as you place your hope on Him, even so you will arise out of that sickness, that financial distress, that marital problem and of course, even that sinful habit shall lose its grip over you! Yes, it doesn't matter how strongly the guards (Satan and his cohorts) are armed to ensure you remain in that state. You won't see decay because He didn't. As He didn't decay in Sheol, even so will I, and so will you!

I am reminded of the song, "Glorious Ruins" by Joel Houston of Hillsong and persuaded that as His body was ruined and put away (with the enemy's intent to have it decay), but to Satan's disappointment and dismay, he arose, and even so will he again be disappointed over your case this time and forevermore in Jesus' name! And now then according to the lyrics of Glorious Ruins, I prophesy everything ruined in your life back to life in Jesus' name.
