Jesus, my Lord, to Thee I cry

Indeed His precious blood was shed for me and I can't do anything on my own. His blood my only plea.

This is one of my hymn I learn this song from my home church Christ Church kaduna around 1998 and since then when ever the song come to my memory I will always sing and it refresh my spirit.

I learnt this song about two decades ago. It's a song that revives my soul and kindle fire on my prayer altar. I love it so much, particularly the Igala (a tribe/ language in Nigeria) version.

Who is but the chiefest of all who've failed the Lord if not myself? But herein is hope for me: "My only plea, Christ died for me... And Thou can make me what Thou will..."

Lord, give me grace to walk with You.

"No preparation can I make,
My best resolves I only break,
Yet save me for Thine own Name’s sake,
And take me as I am."
My heart cries out to you Lord.
For thine own name's sake Lord, just take me as I am.
"Unless Thou save me, I must die!"

In a world of temptations and sin.
Lor, in You I put my trust.
Hold me with Your mighty hand.
Take me as I am on the last day.

How sweet the love of God for me... please take me as I am... unworthy but Your mercy is all I need.

Indeed, no preparation can I make. Just take me as I am, Lord!

I've blown it big time! I know the only way God will deal with me is just to take me as I am, otherwise I'm done!

I first learnt about this song during my NYSC Christian conference in Nigeria over 10 years ago during Bro Gbile ministration it has been in my memory since then can't ever forget it.
