Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

The Lord hath promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.

Amazing Grace was written in 1772 by John Newton, an Anglican minister in England. In his first career, he was a captain of a slave ship. He participated in the transatlantic slave trade for decades carrying kidnapped people from Africa to England, America and the Caribbean. What turned around his life was a shipwreck that almost killed him. He vowed to God he would to be a better man if he was saved. All the guilt and remorse that bleeds in this wonderful song had its roots in slavery.
Jesus Christ is the Almighty, Who is and was and is to come. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and He reigns forever and ever.

My first time here. I love it. Everything here so simplified. I only get piano or beat, I have to sing my song as well. That keeps me engaged. Loving it.

Oh! What an indescribable grace of God's love that sets anyone who dares to come to Jesus to be free from sin and eternal death.
Thank You God for coming down in the nature and likeness of man to rescue the falling man from everlasting condemnation.

This song just came into my spirit this evening. I’m praying for all the lost and those who are searching. Keep seeking, knocking Jesus is coming soon! Maranatha
