And our prayer is— “Come, Lord Jesus!” And our prayer is— “Come, Lord Jesus!” “Come, Lord Jesus! Lord Jesus, come!”
This song matches the feeling and sentiment of the later chapters of Song of Songs where the lover of the Lord has maturity of life and is able to not just work for the Him but work together with the Him. In Song of Songs 7:11 she is calling the Lord to come, "Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the fields; / Let us lodge in the villages. ” This shows that she wants to carry out with her Beloved the work that is for the entire world.
LORD JESUS! You are my hope of glory! Make me the same as You are in life, nature, expression and function--qualified to work with You for Your Body and Your economy!
Day by day cause me to simply trust in You, depend on You as my love and strength!
Come, dear JESUS! I long to be raptured and completely saved through the redemption of my body!
