Seek the Lord while He may be found

Scriptures for Singing

1
Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts:
And let him return to the Lord,
Unto our God,
And He will abundantly pardon,
He will abundantly pardon you—
Return to the Lord.

Hence also He is able to save to the uttermost those who come forward to God through Him, since He lives always to intercede for them.

Praise the Lord! Seek the Lord while He may be found. Just call upon His name while He is near! And let us just return to our Lord, for he will abundantly pardon you. :)

This hymn must be taken from II Chronicles 15 and Isaiah 55, a worthwhile study for those interest lies in such matters. Every blessing as you do so.

I like this song because...At the end of 1992, I was invited to a college gospel mtg with students from Cal state Fullerton, UCI, and Santa Ana campus. I heard this wonderful hymn for the first time, and I felt to be at the right place, right time in my life. I didn't want the meeting to ever end. The words of this hymn were so compelling when you are looking for answers about your human life. Praise the Lord for such an enjoyable song.
