When the burden feels heavy,
And strength seems so small,
Situations press in strongly,
And you can do nothing at all,
Do not be discouraged,
For you are not alone—
Christ now lives in you, making His home.
And strength seems so small,
Situations press in strongly,
And you can do nothing at all,
Do not be discouraged,
For you are not alone—
Christ now lives in you, making His home.
Though trials surround you and clouds hide the way,
Go on in the Lord—do not falter or stay;
Not moved by conditions, nor shaken within,
Christ now lives in you; let Him bring you on.
Just call on His name, let His life have its say,
He’ll bring you through—so go on today.
Go on in the Lord—do not falter or stay;
Not moved by conditions, nor shaken within,
Christ now lives in you; let Him bring you on.
Just call on His name, let His life have its say,
He’ll bring you through—so go on today.

When you face persecution,
Rejection and scorn,
Others hide, the way abandon,
It seems you are left all alone,
Do not be discouraged,
You never are alone—
Christ now lives in you as His sweet home.
Rejection and scorn,
Others hide, the way abandon,
It seems you are left all alone,
Do not be discouraged,
You never are alone—
Christ now lives in you as His sweet home.
