The ministry is formed when we turn to the Lord, and experience Christ in affliction. Then we unto others a comfort become,

True ministers in resurrection. Amen

Oh, He's really the Father of compassion and a God of all comfort in my personal experience. Amen

So stay open, open to Him,

The God of all comfort;

Then He can touch others in a personal way

I love the verses this song comes from (1 Corinthians 1:3-7):

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions and God of all comfort,

Who comforts us in all our affliction that we may be able to comfort those who are in every affliction through the comforting with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

For even as the sufferings of the Christ abound unto us, so through the Christ our comfort also abounds.

But whether we are afflicted, it is for your comforting and salvation; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comforting, which operates in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer.

And our hope for you is firm, knowing that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also [you are] of the comfort."

We partake of the sufferings so we can partake of the comfort! Why do we suffer? To experience the comforting and to comfort others. Praise the Lord we have the Comforter right inside of us!

Our Lord is the real comfort in us. He will never fain in comforting us if we just keep open to Him!

Thank You for giving someone the grace, wisdom, and experience to put music to Your precious words. Your words, with the music have comforted, strengthened and encouraged me to come again and again to You so Your Word can be wrought into me, and all of us, Your children. Thank You, Lord.

Lord, thank You that You are the abounding Comfort! Let us just stay open to You!

Comfort to you, comfort through you; the Comfort abounds!
