This song came to my mind today. Its one that was around in the days of the 1970's expression of praise and thanksgiving.
May I respond to a comment made by Pam in Dec 2019. The lyrics as they stand are intentional as they refer to the scriptures and the ancient prophesy, one of many, concerning the birth of Messiah, Jesus Christ. Emmanuel in the Jewish language this is ' Immanu EL' translated as 'God is with us ' The Name is referred to in Matthew's gospel 1 : 23.
