The gift of righteousness

Encouragement For Fellowship with the Lord

New Song102
1
The gift of righteousness is measured in abundance,
The depth of His love I’ll never understand.
His love reaches me and you;
His mercy goes farther too.
The One on the throne of God is called the Lamb.

So, why not open up and call His name, “Oh Lord!”
Find your spirit where His grace has been outpoured.
Call His name, taste His grace, exercise before His face
He’s longing and yearning.
He’s hoping and waiting.
He’s ever desiring for you...
To turn to Him.
2
He knows your deepest thought,
Your every situation.
He understands your heart,
He knows your history.
There’s nothing in His way,
He’s just waiting for you to say
“Lord Jesus, my wandering heart
I give to Thee.”

Matt 9:13 But go and learn what this means, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice, '' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.

This verse is in the context of when the Pharisees asked Jesus' disciples why he was eating with the tax collectors and sinners. The Pharisee's concept was that these ones should be judged. But the Lord wants to show grace and mercy to all for all are sinners. Just some do not realize it.

Lord, give us the clarify to see our pitiful condition and desire You as our grace and mercy.

For if, by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
