There shall be showers of blessing:
G
There shall be
D
showers of
G
blessing:
D
This is the
D7
promise of
G-G7
love;
C
There shall be seasons re
G
freshing,
A
Sent from the
A7
Savior a
D7
bove.
Showers of blessing,
Showers of
A
blessing we
D-D7
need;
G
Mercy-drops
C
round us are
G
falling,
D
But for the
D7
showers we
G
plead.
2
There shall be showers of blessing—
There shall be showers of blessing—
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.
G
There shall be
D
showers of
G
blessing—
D
Precious
D7
reviving
G-G7
again;
C
Over the hills and the
G
valleys,
A
Sound of
A7
abundance of
D7
rain.
Showers of blessing,
Showers of
A
blessing we
D-D7
need;
G
Mercy-drops
C
round us are
G
falling,
D
But for the
D7
showers we
G
plead.
3
There shall be showers of blessing;
There shall be showers of blessing;
Send them upon us, O Lord!
Grant to us now a refreshing;
Come, and now honor Thy Word.
G
There shall be
D
showers of
G
blessing;
D
Send them
D7
upon us, O
G-G7
Lord!
C
Grant to us now a
G
refreshing;
A
Come, and now
A7
honor Thy
D7
Word.
Showers of blessing,
Showers of
A
blessing we
D-D7
need;
G
Mercy-drops
C
round us are
G
falling,
D
But for the
D7
showers we
G
plead.
4
There shall be showers of blessing;
There shall be showers of blessing;
O that today they might fall,
Now as to God we're confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!
G
There shall be
D
showers of
G
blessing;
D
O that
D7
today they might
G-G7
fall,
C
Now as to God we're
G
confessing,
A
Now as on
A7
Jesus we
D7
call!
Showers of blessing,
Showers of
A
blessing we
D-D7
need;
G
Mercy-drops
C
round us are
G
falling,
D
But for the
D7
showers we
G
plead.
5
There shall be showers of blessing,
There shall be showers of blessing,
If we but trust and obey;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
If we let God have His way.
G
There shall be
D
showers of
G
blessing,
D
If we but
D7
trust and
G-G7
obey;
C
There shall be seasons
G
refreshing,
A
If we let
A7
God have His
D7
way.
Showers of blessing,
Showers of
A
blessing we
D-D7
need;
G
Mercy-drops
C
round us are
G
falling,
D
But for the
D7
showers we
G
plead.

Showers of blessings
Showers of blessing I need
Sound of abundance of rain
O that today they might fall
This is the promise of love
If we but trust and obey
But for the showers I plead
