Showers of blessing,
Showers of

G
Mercy-drops
C

falling,
D
But for the
D7
showers we

There shall be showers of blessing—
There shall be showers of blessing—
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.
G
There shall be

There shall be showers of blessing;
There shall be showers of blessing;
Send them upon us, O Lord!

There shall be showers of blessing;
There shall be showers of blessing;
O that today they might fall,
Now as to God we're confessing,
Now as on Jesus we call!
G
There shall be

O that

There shall be showers of blessing,
There shall be showers of blessing,
If we but trust and obey;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
If we let God have His way.
G
There shall be

If we but

Very lovely song.
Lagos, Nigeria
I have been struggling with bitterness about various things not falling in place in my family. I could not pray because of this. This morning God woke me up with this song in my spirit. And I feel such a release and feel enveloped by His love. The assurance that his mercy drops have always been there for us, that the showers will come is such a blessing. Indeed, We have more than mercy drops. The song reminded me afresh to trust, reminded me that my bitterness is disobedience, reminded me to have faith and so many other things. I have prayed for His forgiveness and I walk on this morning in the knowledge that we are not forgotten. I thank God for reaching into the miry clay of my bitterness to love me.

It a soul refreshing song that brings hopes to the hopeless. It remind me of God promised In the BIBLE BOOK OF PROPHET EZEKIEL TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL EXTENTION TO THOSE THAT IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
