宇宙召會形成為一個完整的實體之後，就需要擴展出去。擴展召會的路，乃是將她帶到某一個地方，把她栽種在那裏。這個栽種，就是地方召會的建立。... 全體召會作基督的身體，包括一切猶太信徒和外邦信徒，在宇宙一面已經一次永遠的形成。這是一個已成就的事實。我們今天所作的，不過是在不同的地方，藉着栽種『召會樹』建立眾召會。這召會樹的栽種，就是眾召會的建立。主已經形成召會。我們的負擔乃是要把召會這棵樹帶到每一城鎮、鄉村，把召會栽種在那裏。我們都需要忠信實行這負擔，藉着栽種召會樹建立地方召會。... 〔我們〕應該像百基拉和亞居拉一樣，不論到那裏，都栽種召會樹。我們若有心願藉着栽種召會樹建立召會，眾召會的建立就會非常快速，非常普及。（新約總論第七冊，九○至九二頁。）
主恢復的開展必須是我們終極責任的一部分。當主在地上的時候，祂差遣門徒兩個兩個的出去。當召會的見證開展的時候，保羅和巴拿巴也是兩個一起出去。我相信這是神聖的原則。... 假定有兩位弟兄，同着他們的妻子到希臘的雅典去。他們四個人都在那裏讀書並接觸學生。你不相信他們五年之內至少能帶進十個人麼？這樣，那裏就會有十四個人聚會，那就是在雅典的召會！他們到那裏去，... 乃是耶穌基督高水準的見證人。他們要把高品的福音帶到雅典，把對聖經更深的認識帶去，把基督帶去，把耶穌的見證，就是基督的身體、新人、燈臺和新婦帶去。
我相信這是主豫備祂新婦的路。（啟十九7∼8。）... 當你思想... 世界的局勢和主的恢復，你會作甚麼？你會僅僅留在所在地過舒適的生活麼？你會滿意於美好的聚會麼？美好的聚會有享受，但主不會帶領你出去麼？要清明、儆醒，主可能給你合式的引導—留下或出去，到那裏去，並如何去。倘若祂帶領你留下，那麼你該對那些在祂的名裏，為着祂的恢復，憑着信心到其他國家去的人擔負多少的責任？這樣的行動是活的，是主在祂身體裏的行動。... 這就是在現今世界終極的局勢下，為着主終極的恢復，我們所必須擔負的終極責任。
