Make me a hungry seeker

Longings For Christ

新歌91

1

Make me a hungry seeker,
Your filling to receive.
Make mine a longing soul, Lord,
Your goodness satisfy me.
If I'm not hungry empty within,
Your blessing will pass me by.
Make me a hungry seeker, Lord,
I want Your rich supply.

2

My eyes be set on You, Lord;
Each pleasure and each pain
Would make me look at You, Lord,
God's riches and grace to gain.
If I am full and think I'm rich,
Empty, You'll send me away;
Continually I'm hungry, Lord.
My heart on You will stay.

This is a great song. I like the music for this one.
If I am full and think I’m rich,
Empty, You’ll send me away;
Continually I’m hungry, Lord.
My heart on You will stay.

I pray my heart will always stay on You Lord, and, if I am too satisfied with worldly things, take them from me and help me set my heart on You. Help us keep our hearts set on You, there are so many things our there demanding our attention. Thank You Lord.

Amen.

Hallelujah! This is what I need. Make me hungry seeker, Lord. Give me such a heart that longs after You so desperately. And keep my gaze fixed on You alone regardless of the circumstances, none other to look at but at You! Lord, make all your saints hungry seekers of You!

As the hart pants after the streams of water, so my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

O Lord Jesus! thank You that You're always available to us! When we are hungry You are there to feed us...Lord, You are my life. Without You I am nothing.

Oh, Lord Jesus keep me hungry longing for your rich supply! Oh all the days of my life full of you lord that you become in me an overflow. Our lord you are our life, our reality we have nothing apart from thee.
