I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever

1
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever,
I will sing, I will sing;
What a mercy that I am in the church forever;
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord.

With my mouth will I make known
Thy faithfulness, Thy faithfulness,
With my mouth will I make known
Thy faithfulness to all generations.
2
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever,
I will sing, I will sing;
What a mercy that I am in the church forever;
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord.

I didn't realize that the song I learned long time ago is actually a verse from the Bible: Ps 89:1.

Today, November 18, 2012 I have this song in my heart :) I am blessed with having various hymns in my heart, on different days. We serve an Awesome God!

I have been singing the chorus of this song since childhood (a long time ago!) so I was particularly happy to see it now with a verse. Thanks.
