A life that lives Christ is a life that forbears,
Is calm, peaceful, quiet, free from all anxious care.
Forbearance is Christ, whom we live and express.
No turmoil is found, and in spirit we rest.
Is calm, peaceful, quiet, free from all anxious care.
Forbearance is Christ, whom we live and express.
No turmoil is found, and in spirit we rest.
Let your forbearance be made known.
Let the Lord Jesus Christ be shown.
In You is no anxiety or fear.
Thank you Lord, You are near.
Let the Lord Jesus Christ be shown.
In You is no anxiety or fear.
Thank you Lord, You are near.

Each moment and instance by God is assigned,
Fulfilling our purpose to gain our rich Christ.
Anxiety from Satan in us has no ground.
We live Christ to others, in Him we'll be found.
Fulfilling our purpose to gain our rich Christ.
Anxiety from Satan in us has no ground.
We live Christ to others, in Him we'll be found.

Forbearance from God is a Person so dear.
By prayer and petition our burdens He hears.
Be anxious in nothing, with thanks we must pray,
And speak with the Lord, this is the secret way.
By prayer and petition our burdens He hears.
Be anxious in nothing, with thanks we must pray,
And speak with the Lord, this is the secret way.

In God's life there's rest and enjoyment and peace,
For fear and anxiety in us now has ceased.
Continually speaking with Christ, He's so near.
He's ready to help us, His presence so dear.
For fear and anxiety in us now has ceased.
Continually speaking with Christ, He's so near.
He's ready to help us, His presence so dear.
