Myst'ry hid from ages now revealed to me

We also need to know the hymns on the crucial points of spiritual warfare, the gospel, the meetings, the hope of glory, and the ultimate manifestation. Hymn #948 and #949 are excellent hymns concerning Christ as the hope of glory, and #972 is a very good hymn on the ultimate manifestation. Hymn #949 was written to the tune of "He Lives, He Lives":

Christ is the hope of glory, my very life is He,
He has regenerated and saturated me;
He comes to change my body by His subduing might
Like to His glorious body in glory bright!
He comes, He comes,
Christ comes to glorify me!

d. One day this process will be completed, and for eternity we will be the same as Christ, God's firstborn Son, in our spirit, soul, and body—1 John 3:2; Rom. 8:19, 23; Hymns, #948, stanza 2.

2. "He will change my body like unto His own, / Wholly making me the same as He"—Hymns, #948.

Hymns, #948, #949, and #972 are all on Christ as our hope of glory. Stanza 1 of Hymns, #948 says, "Myst'ry hid from ages now revealed to me, / 'Tis the Christ of God's reality. / He embodies God, and He is life to me, / And the glory of my hope He'll be." The chorus reads, "Glory, glory, Christ is life in me! / Glory, glory, what a hope is He! / Now within my spirit He's the mystery! / Then the glory He will be to me." Stanza 2 says, "In my spirit He regenerated me, / In my soul He's now transforming me. / He will change my body like unto His own, / Wholly making me the same as He." Stanza 3 says, "Now in life and nature He is one with me; / Then in Him, the glory, I will be; / I'll enjoy His presence for eternity / With Him in complete conformity."
