It tells me of a Savior's love,
Who died to set me free;
It tells me of His precious blood,
The sinner's perfect plea.
Who died to set me free;
It tells me of His precious blood,
The sinner's perfect plea.
It tells me of a Savior's love,
Who died to set me free;
It tells me of His precious blood,

Who died to set me free;
It tells me of His precious blood,
The sinner's perfect plea.

It tells me what my Father hath,
In store for every day,
And though I tread a darksome path,
Yields sunshine all the way.
In store for every day,
And though I tread a darksome path,
Yields sunshine all the way.
It tells me what my Father hath,
In store for every day,
And though I tread a darksome path,
Yields sunshine all the way.
In store for every day,
And though I tread a darksome path,
Yields sunshine all the way.

It tells of One whose loving heart
Can feel my deepest woe,
Who in each sorrow bears a part
That none can bear below.
Can feel my deepest woe,
Who in each sorrow bears a part
That none can bear below.
It tells of One whose loving heart
Can feel my deepest woe,
Who in each sorrow bears a part
That none can bear below.
Can feel my deepest woe,
Who in each sorrow bears a part
That none can bear below.

I woke up this morning to with this song in my head thinking of my family who is with Him in heaven. I love so many of the old songs since I was raised with all of then. Thank you for letting me find so many on here. Love, Milea.

Praise God!!! What a precious name Jesus is. The deaf hears the name of Jesus and start hearing, the dumb speaks, the blind see, the lame walk, the barren becomes fruitful, the sorrowful becomes joyful, the sinner becomes save, the saved soul becomes sanctified and the sanctified believers becomes filled with the Holy Ghost Power. Thank God for Jesus. Amen. Thanks for uploading this song and God bless you all.

Jesus, Shepherd of my soul, help me love You more.

I like the "plonky" approach, it makes it a lot easier to sing along when one isn't so sure about the tune.

Perhaps you could re-record with a more upbeat rendering like "I'm walking down the road"? Evelyn, please check out that piano part, really excellent.

I love the hymn but am sad the playing is so "plonky" rather than with beautiful chords and smooth in the style of Ted Smith of the Billy Graham Crusades. Many of the lovely older hymns on You tube tend to be plonky and make them sound childish.

Thank You Jesus for the finished work at Calvary.
