There is a place of quiet rest

I've been singing this song since I was a child and at 71 it continues to bring me great comfort whenever I need it. So nice to read all the other comments about it.

Jesus comes from the bosom of the Father to bring us home to the bosom of the Father...

What a peaceful place "where sin cannot molest"

I am starting on a journey to learn to be in solitude and silence with God. This beautiful song has been in my mind since I recently made that decision. His kindness and mercy are so great to me!

This brings quietness to my soul.

Love this song. I don't know how many times I've played. For I know that my God is real and He will come and take me home. Lord im waiting for that day where everything alive will bow down. Thank You Lord for what I have and even for what I don't have. Glory be Your Name.

This song is entering into His rest and feel close, safe and secure in Him to feel His love and to feel His arms around me, nothing can be compared with that. To honor Him. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you, Halleluah Thank You, Jesus.

Most beautiful hymn.

Makes me fall in love with Jesus over and over again.

Would have liked to be able to print this hymn.

I was reminded by a dear friend that if we stay tight with Jesus, that's all we need. I was contemplating those words and I remembered this song I used to sing in church so many years ago. Nothing fills my soul like music, nothing can replace the old hymns.
