Reading through the book of Joshua. Read this morning about Caleb at 85 years old he finally received the land he was promised. Scripture says he followed wholly after God. 85 years old and he says he was as strong at 85 as he was when he spied out the land 45 years earlier. He was talking of physical strength but oh the strength to stand on the promises of God for so long and to be wholly devoted to the Lord for all those years. I pray I stand on His promises and devote myself wholly to Him all my days. The Lord is faithful and will hold me fast. Beyond thankful for the truths in this hymn.
