I am always broken by the tune and lyrics of this song.

It is as if it were composed yesterday, always fresh in my heart. I can't stop worshipping me. May God use it to transform as many lives as it pleases Him.

Love this old hymn, I sang this when I was young. What a gift his song gives us, it covers all what Jesus has done for us and will do. Singing this focuses on Him.

I just remembered this hymn this season. I sung it long ago while in Zimbabwe. Was looking for it my hymnals but it was not found. So I went online I found this website. Thanks so much. It’s such a touching hymn going deep in my heart in this difficult season I am crossing this time. Keep praying for me and my sickly spouse.

I can't stop crying when I sang this song again this morning. We sang it yesterday in my choir and woke up again this morning with the song in my spirit. Oh Jesus Thank you for accepting to be wounded for me. Thank you for dying for me, Thank you for living and coming for me. Thank you for revealing yourself again and again to us. Thank you for your death, burial and resurrection has brought us real salvation. Please Lord help me to always remember you died for me, and your death shouldn't be a waste in Jesus name Amen

This is beyond human understanding

Praise God, , He was wounded for me
Yes, He died, rose and is living for me
So true, , He is pleading for me
Surely, He is coming for me

But the truth is--- all was done to restore me to the Father's original purpose for His creation:

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. ” Revelation 4:11

I feel that it would be appropriate to add an extra verse between 4 & 5

Wounded for me. Dying for me. Risen for me. Pleading for me. Coming for me. It is all about me and you.... before He came, after He came and even when He left it is still about me and you! Oh wonderful Saviour! I love You.
