My Mum passed away recently and she was a member of the girls brigade during WWII so we will play this hymn at her funeral mum was "Strong and Steadfast".

This song has been ringing in my spirit for the past 2 days eva since I listened to it again on youtube. Am going thru a very rough time in my life n it is soo soothing to know that I have an anchor that keeps my soul. It is steadfast and sure while the billows roll. It is fastened to the rock Jesus that can never be moved. My anchor is grounded firmly and deeply in the Saviour's love. What an encouragement. The following stanzas insist on the doubtless fact that no matter what may come our way, that anchor is firmly grounded in the Saviour's love. Thank You Jesus for being that anchor.
