"Great is Thy faithfulness," O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

This song is so inspiring. We sang it for my daddy on his birthday and it was really a blessing to him. I love this song.

I never believe life is like a circle or roller coaster but I do believe life is like a stair. My dear Lord always provided the next step until I get into the top of the stair. At the end, after the sunny, storm, heavy rain, I always see the beautiful rainbow. Thank You Lord, You are the Greatest Lord.

I have often sung this hymn over may years and always found it to be a wonderful reminder of God's love and His wonderful faithfulness. I will be singing it again with other believers at a dear lady's funeral. She is currently awaiting the call... Welcome home good and faithful servant.

I'm so thankful that God is good. He must be truly good to love me despite my shortcomings (oh, alright - despite my sin!).
It is because of the Lord's mercy and loving-kindness that we are not comsumed, because His tender compassions fail not. They are new every mornining; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23 Amp)

I woke up this morning with this song in my heart. I could not find it in my old hymnals. Thank you for this site. I will sing it all day. Great is His faithfulness - we are never alone.

Even though my family and I are going through a great storm "Great is Thy faithfulness". Each day I see Your mercies and I am strengthened to never give up.

Lamentations 3: 22-23
"Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
Sometimes we come to work and it feels like there is a brick wall – nothing is going right, or so it seems. We may not be at the point of giving up, but the thought crosses our mind before we chase it away.
In the midst of all the struggles, drama, and hard work, we remember why we are here. We remember what God calls us to do. We remember that we are certainly not alone, but His presence and power and promises equip us.
And like God refreshed Isaiah after his confrontation with Jezebel when Isaiah was tapped out, God also refreshes us. He allows us rest, He ministers to us, and His Word gives us strength and encouragement.
Each day then brings afresh a new message of God's mercy. We can say with Jeremiah:
"Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
We can sing the great hymn of faith:
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father.

This hymn makes me sober and teary. I am eternally grateful and indebted to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus.
