Therefore with joy shall ye draw water (Alternate Tune)

Scriptures for Singing

English1340b

1

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water
Out of the wells of salvation.
And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord.
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water
Out of the wells of salvation.
And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord.

Call upon His name,
Declare His doings among the people,
Make mention that His name is exalted.
Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion:
For great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

I wish there were more hymns composed of scripture passages. This is a good way for to have the word dwell in us richly.

This is Isaiah 12:3-6.

Ah, the sweet presence of the Lord.

Woke up with this song and words this morning and was blessed by Him and by the words. He indeed makes living waters flow as we call upon the name of Jesus. Thank You Lord.

The Lord woke me up with this song early this morning. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; For great is the Holy one of Israel in the midst of thee.

God is my salvation; I will trust and not dread

Therefore you will draw water with rejoicing

From the springs of salvation. 😆
