诗歌： God has not giv'n us a spirit of fear

God has not giv'n us a spirit of fear—
There's pow'r deep within, pow'r deep within!
We have His Word—brothers, sisters, let's hear—
That pow'r deep within may flow out.

O there's pow'r, pow'r, overcoming pow'r,
Deep within, deep within;
O there's pow'r, pow'r, normal Christian pow'r
In the spirit God's given us!

God has not giv'n us a wavering will—
There's pow'r deep within, pow'r deep within!
But one our spirit will strengthen and fill—
There's wonderful pow'r deep within!

God has not giv'n us emotions so weak—
There's pow'r deep within, pow'r deep within!
Open our hearts and in love let us speak—
There's wonderful pow'r deep within!

God has not giv'n us a mind that is bound—
There's pow'r deep within, pow'r deep within!
But one that's healthy and perfectly sound—
There's wonderful pow'r deep within!

This is an interesting new set of lyrics to a very old tune. The original lyrics are called "Power in the Blood".

Very nice and I will use these lyrics at some point in my church.

I love this website. I love many hymns here, but I cannot sing them fluently; my English is poor. But I have a pure heart. I 'm praying that the Lord can provision a partner to me and enjoy these hymns together. Praise the Lord!

because of the wonderful overcoming power deep within, my/our wavering "will" is gone... and it strengthened and filled in one spirit. My/our weak "emotion" no more... for there's an open heart and speaking love. My/our bounded "mind" has released...and it is healthy and perfectly sound.

So Praise the Lord! The 3 parts of my/our soul (will, emotion, mind) there's an OVERCOMING POWER DEEP WITHIN.
