Whosoever heareth! shout, shout the sound

English1034

"Whosoever heareth!" shout, shout the sound!
Send the blessed tidings all the world around;
Spread the joyful news wherever man is found:
"Whosoever will may come!"

"Whosoever will! whosoever will!"
Send the proclamation over vale and hill;
’Tis a loving Father calls the wand'rer home:
"Whosoever will may come!"

"Whosoever cometh" need not delay,
Now the door is open, enter while you may;
Jesus is the true, the only Living Way:
"Whosoever will may come!"

"Whosoever will!" the promise is secure;
"Whosoever will," forever must endure;
"Whosoever will!" ’tis life forevermore;
"Whosoever will may come."

A great piece of a generation that makes me rewind the history of my family. My Mother and Uncle (Pr) used to sing that hymn a lot, and I have realised the true meaning when I have aged, a time that my father wasn't SDA but the rhythm of the song sunk deeply in him and allowed us to follow the Mother's religion though towards his last days, he left Catholic to SDA. Whosoever will, the promise is true, God is there to receive you as heal you

This hymn is soo inviting to all when we choose to come to the Lord Jesus as the only ever present helper to hear and change our situations.

This call of Salvation I love. Whosoever will may come. I Know That Salvation is free for All, but they who Truly need shall embrace It wilfully.
