I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy

Ah yes, this is certainly an interesting hymn!

You know, I was just down in Georgia last week talking about how wonderful this old hymn is. There is a lot we can learn from past generations... its something that I frequently discuss with Neitzcvhe, Chompsky, Yates we all agree that everything we do is simply for the sake of joy!

Brilliant! I used to sing this in Sunday School when teaching the kids many years ago. How true it is that when we have the love of Jesus in our hearts, we have also got the overflow of heavenly joy wanting to burst out from within us! “The joy of the Lord is our strength”, the bible tells us! It’s infectious! Rejoice always and again I say rejoice, wrote the apostle Paul. Sing it out!

Relaxing, got up and just wanted to hear those words.

I like this song because this song is very nice. O Lord Jesus.

I have the Nicodemus new born feeling down in my heart, down in my Heart,....

I knew another part, but I don't remember now.

I can remember this as a kid also and we used to sing this along with it. It goes like this.

And if the devil doesn't like he can sit on a tack
sit on a tack
sit on a tack
and if the devil doesn't like he can sit on a tack
sit on a tack
sit on a tack today

and as kids we would stand up and sing this song and we we go to this part we would sit in the seat and say ouch! and stand back up we had a lot of fun with this old song.

I have the love of Jesus Christ my saviour
Down in my heart
Down in my heart
Down in my heart
I have the love of Jesus Christ my saviour
Down in my heart
Down in my heart to stay
I have a peace that passes understanding
Down in my heart
Down in my heart
Down in my heart
I have a peace that passes understanding
Down in my heart
Down in my heart to stay.
I have the wonderful love of my blessed redeemer
Down in my heart....and so on.

This song is awesome! Singing this makes me dance like a kid. Is there any way I can download the tune? So that I can teach the song too to the kids in our church. Thanks! :)

Love it.
