O love that will not let me go.! I rest my weary soul in thee. I give you back the life you own. Finally I see and experience I’m not my own. Here I realize I’m defeated and am not my own. What a revelation. Verse four really is a deep inspiration. Here we lie in dust. Our natural glory like that of grass is gone. So now from this dust His eternal life in me may rise. We must not leave the cross for through its work we will express His glory. This seems to be the experience or inspiration of one who is suffering in life and maybe near the end of life. Here through it all the writer sees he is held in Gods love till the end.
