The divine dispensing

1
The divine dispensing starts with the Father.
He selected us ’ere the world began.
Predestinated to be His sons
Through His rich life dispensing.
2
The Son accomplished the Father’s purpose
By His redemption of fallen man
Through His own blood and according to
The riches of God’s grace.
3
The Spirit’s sealing, the application
It works within us to permeate
And transform us with God’s element
Unto our full redemption.
4
The Spirit’s pledging is just a foretaste
Of our divine inheritance.
It guarantees the full taste of God
As our eternal portion.
5
We thank You, Father, Son, and Spirit
For all the blessings we have received.
We’ve given nothing, yet You give all.
How worthy of our praise!

Praise our Triune God. Father, You chose us before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blemish before You in love. In Christ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of offenses, the abounding grace, unto the economy of the fulness of times for all things to be headed up in Him. Praise You. Thank You for the Spirit's sealing, the pledge of our inheritance. Lord, unveil us, fill us and grow in us. Continue ministering Christ richly to each one for the proper church life.

I really love this hymn because it opens up the view of all the spiritual blessings in the heavenlies in Christ in Ephesians 1:3-14. It shows how these blessings are all of the Triune God—the Father's choosing and predestinating, the Son's redeeming and the Spirit's sealing and pledging. All these spiritual and heavenly blessings are related to God's divine dispensing to make us God's sons for His eternal glory. What awesome blessings!
