But the Lord, knowing who we are, allowed us to touch Him and anoint Him! What a privilege to pour ourselves on Him! Our consecration is not a boast or some kind of extraordinary sacrifice. It is our reasonable reaction to His love toward us. Saints, we are so honored that we can give our all to Him!

She took opportunity to "waste" herself on the Lord and anoint the Lord properly before His burial because she sat at the Lord's feet and listened to His word. Lord make me love You and treasure You more than anything else!
